AI for Real Estate Agents: Which Tools Actually Write Listings, Follow Up Leads and Book Showings?

AI tools for real estate agents, job by job: listing copy from $9.99/mo, lead follow-up in Follow Up Boss from $69/user, showings from $15/mo. As of Oct 2026.

The cheapest useful setup for an agent is a listing writer at $9.99 a month, a CRM with AI assistance from $69 per user a month, and a showing scheduler at $15 a month. Fully automated lead follow-up costs more and, at Lofty and Structurely, the price is not published. All prices below are as of 13 October 2026 and come from vendor pages, so every feature is a vendor claim unless stated otherwise.

This is a job-by-job map of what each vendor says its tool does, what it costs, and where the pitch is thin.

Which AI tools write real estate listing descriptions?

Two real-estate-specific writers publish prices: EstatePass and listingcopy.ai. General chatbots also write listings but are not covered here.

EstatePass is the better fit on paper. It says descriptions are written in three lengths and checked against a character limit "set to your MLS limit", and it can import from a listing link or an MLS report (3 a month on Free, 30 on Pro). Its Listing Kit page says prices and allowances were checked against the product on 6 September 2026.

Is the fair housing scanner worth relying on?

Use it as a second pair of eyes, not a sign-off. EstatePass says its scanner flags "words and phrases that describe who should live in a home rather than the home itself," such as family status, religion, national origin or disability, and suggests a rewrite. That is the vendor's description of its own feature.

The page also notes that EstatePass is not affiliated with any state real estate commission. In practice, the licensed agent publishes the listing, so a human read before it goes live is still the safe default.

Which tool follows up with new leads?

It depends on whether you want drafts or an agent that acts alone. Follow Up Boss assists you. Lofty and Structurely describe software that contacts leads itself.

What does Follow Up Boss's AI actually do?

It speeds up the human's follow-up. Follow Up Boss lists four AI features: smart summaries of calls and lead history (marked "in beta"), suggested tasks, smart messages with suggested texts and emails, and predictive lead prioritization that surfaces high-intent Zillow buyers and qualified sellers.

The AI is included at no extra charge, but the company says many features rely on data from FUB Calling. That is a paid add-on on Grow at $39 per user a month, or $33 billed yearly. Pro ($499 a month for 10 users, or $416 billed annually) and Platform ($1,000 for 30 users, or $833) include unlimited calling and texting.

What do Lofty and Structurely promise for automated follow-up?

Both promise speed and coverage. The Lofty AI Sales Agent says it "handles outreach, qualifies leads, and books appointments" and engages "within 5 seconds across text, email, and web chat." Its FAQ says it uses a sequence of attempts over a set period, then moves unresponsive leads to a longer-term nurture, and Lofty says it speaks English, Spanish, Mandarin and French.

Structurely, which now brands itself 21X, describes an AI that handles voice (inbound and outbound), SMS and email conversations. Its pricing page shows a platform fee (amount not published) plus usage: voice "as low as $0.07 / minute", SMS and AI email "as low as $0.02" each. Lofty's results are company-reported: +240% lead responses, +114% appointments booked, and an "independently audited" score of 91.2 out of 100. Lofty does not name the auditor on the page. Treat these as marketing figures until you see them on your own leads.

Which tool books showings?

For listing agents, ShowingTime is the specialist and Calendly is the generalist.

Single-agent price$15 a monthFree (1 event type, 1 calendar); Standard $10 per seat a month billed yearly
Multi-agent routingTeam and office pricing via salesTeams $16 per seat a month billed yearly (round-robin, lead routing)

ShowingTime says its subscription gives 24/7 live appointment specialists who handle showing requests by phone or online, a mobile app, Offer Manager, a Target Market Analysis and a Pricing Benchmark Report. Calendly suits an agent booking buyer consultations or open-house sign-ups, and its Teams plan adds round-robin distribution and routing forms for brokerages.

How would the pieces fit together?

A solo agent could run the stack for roughly $25 to $100 a month before lead-gen costs, depending on the choices. For example: EstatePass Pro ($9.99), ShowingTime ($15) and one Follow Up Boss Grow seat ($69, or $58 on annual billing) comes to $93.99 a month. Swapping in EstatePass Free and Calendly Free removes most of the cost but also removes the live showing specialists.

Teams face different math. Follow Up Boss Pro starts at $499 a month for 10 users, and Lofty or 21X need a sales conversation. If you want an AI that contacts leads on its own, budget for a demo and a quote, not a checkout page.

What's still unclear?

Several things are open. None of the vendors above publishes independent results for lead conversion, so every performance number here is a company claim. Lofty and Structurely do not publish their base platform prices, which makes comparison with Follow Up Boss unfair in either direction.

ShowingTime's pages carry no last-updated date, and its agents page still lists a "Coming Soon" section that looks out of date, so confirm the $15 price at sign-up. The listingcopy.ai site footer reads 2023, so its maintenance status is uncertain. Follow Up Boss's smart summaries are marked beta.

Finally, everything here comes from vendor pages and not from our own use of the tools. Whether the drafted listings, messages and showing flows save time for your market is something only a trial can show. Follow Up Boss offers a 14-day trial and EstatePass has a free tier, so those two are cheap to try first.

Which tool should you try first?

Start with the job that costs you the most hours. If listing copy is the bottleneck, try the EstatePass free tier and compare it with your own writing. If leads go cold, a Follow Up Boss trial shows how much suggested messaging helps before you pay for automation. If showing requests flood your phone, ShowingTime's $15 plan is the lowest-risk move.

Skip the automated agents until you have a CRM with clean data. Both Lofty and 21X work on top of lead records, and they are sold by quote.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest AI tool for writing real estate listings?

EstatePass has a free tier of 10 pieces of writing a month, and its Pro plan is $9.99 a month, $19.99 a quarter or $39.99 once, according to its Listing Kit page as of 13 October 2026. listingcopy.ai starts at $19 a month. Both are vendor-published prices, and you should still edit every description yourself before it goes on the MLS.

Does Follow Up Boss have an AI that texts leads on its own?

Not according to its own AI page. Follow Up Boss lists smart summaries, suggested tasks, smart messages and predictive lead prioritization, which draft and suggest rather than act alone. If you want an agent that replies to leads automatically, Lofty's AI Sales Agent and Structurely's 21X describe that behaviour, and both are sold through sales teams.

How much does ShowingTime cost for a single agent?

ShowingTime's products page says the Appointment Center subscription is $15 a month for agents, as of 13 October 2026. Team and office pricing is not published and goes through sales. The subscription includes live appointment specialists, a mobile app and an Offer Manager, per the vendor.

Is Calendly good enough for booking property showings?

For a solo agent, Calendly's free plan covers one event type and one calendar. Splitting showings across several agents needs the Teams plan at $16 per seat a month billed yearly, which adds round-robin and lead routing. It is a general scheduler with no real-estate-specific features listed.

Can I trust AI listing descriptions to be fair-housing safe?

Treat it as a vendor claim, not a guarantee. EstatePass says its scanner reads every sentence for language about who should live in a home, such as family status or religion. listingcopy.ai's pricing page makes no such claim. The agent who publishes the listing stays responsible for what it says.
